Appel à contribution pour le congrès international sur les orchidées des régions tempérées qui aura lieu à Samos , Grèce, en Avril 2015. Date limite de dépôt des contributions : 15 décembre 2014
TORC’15 réunit des scientifiques de renommée mondiale et des praticiens de terrain, spécialistes des orchidées tempérées, à travers différentes disciplines telles que la biologie, la chimie, la phylogénie, l’agronomie, la pharmacie, l’écologie et la conservation.
Les organisateurs vous invitent à faire parvenir toutes les contributions sous forme de résumés dès à présent concernant les principaux défis de la conservation des orchidées tempérées.
La conférence se déroulera ainsi :
– Session A : nouvelles espèces
– Session B : défis taxonomiques
– Session C : liens entre orchidées et sol, champignons et autres plantes
– Session D : relations entre polinisateurs
– Session E : produits naturels & ethnophamacologie
– Session F : écologie
– Session G : conservation
Un des points forts de la conférence sera une excursion d’une journée dans les habitats caractéristiques des orchidées sauvages de Samos.

We are now opening our Call for Papers for TORC ’15. We are inviting to submit poster and lecture contributions in form of Abstracts on hot topics for the better understanding and further conservation of temperate orchids within the framework of the described sessions. We are expecting a broad participation from professional and amateur researchers from different regions in the world examplified by our top-class scientific committee. To stimulate the next orchid enthusiast generation, we will award for the best poster contributions in contents and presentation with a poster prize during the conference. All accepted contributions will be published in the conference proceedings at no fee for the authors.

One highlight of the conference will be a full-day fieldtrip to representive habitats of the wild orchids of Samos. The amazing presentation of wild orchids in nature during the conference time will reveal one or another botanical surprise.
