I agree. Black people have a phrase – “the talented tenth”. This refers to the roughly ten percent of blacks that are in some way talented enough (smart, athletic, musical, etc.) that the corporations that dominate our economy can take advantage of them.

I’ve said for a long time that white people are going to find out what “the talented tenth” means in a big way, and I’m afraid it’s happening in earnest now, as our middle class is being hollowed out.

Of course, black people are ahead of the curve in other ways, like the percent of children born out of wedlock, the percent of men incarcerated, but whites are catching up as the middle class disappears.
